Phase One of the Master Plan is underway! The Children’s Butterfly Garden was completed last year, and the Habitat Thicket is nearing completion. We have a new design for the Front Entrance. Interpretive signage will be added throughout. A wall surrounds the iconic water tank, where the Youth Mural Program installed three beautiful murals. The murals illustrate the garden’s three themes:
- The relationships between native plants and the people of the region
- The relationships between native plants and the region’s wildlife
- The relationships between native plants and the region’s climate
The wall will also host tile flowers thanking our donors and outstanding volunteers.
