The Gila Native Plant Society is offering a workshop focused on identification of plants in the Asteraceae. So many of us have trouble telling apart those yellow composites!
When & Where: The workshop will begin on Tuesday, October 1st, and meet every Tuesday night in October in Harlan Hall Rm 135 from 6 and 8 PM.
Description: The workshop will consist of a combination of lectures, local field trips, and training sessions in the use of dichotomous keys to identify unknown plants in the Asteraceae.
Presenters: Co-leaders will be Richard Felger, Russ Kleinman, and William (Bill) Norris.
Cost: $20
